Software Engineer

Taazaa, LLC seeks a Software Engineer for a position in Hudson, Ohio. Designing, developing, planning, and implementing business applications and programs, which entails performing software development analysis to provide solutions and create applications; prototyping, testing, and reviewing code; developing quality assurance protocols; and working with clients and vendors and with junior developers. May travel to unanticipated locations as normal to the occupation.

Qualifications:
Must have a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Science OR Computer Engineering OR Software Engineering OR closely related field. Academic program(s) must have included one course in each of the following areas:

1. Design and Analysis of Algorithms, including programming paradigms recursion, sorting, and searching for various data structures;
2. Information Security, including best practices for secure API (Application Programming Interface) end points and using encryption techniques for communication with third party APIs;
3. System Thinking and Modeling for Dynamic Information Systems, including causal loop, sub system, and stock flow diagrams;
4. Data Mining and Business Intelligence, including aggregation, sampling, dimensionality reduction, model selection and evaluation; and
5. Information Technology Strategy, including cost, human capital, vendor, and risk management.

Qualifications may be documented with academic and other letter(s) of reference, and course syllabus/description, if requested. 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
