Taazaa’s stakeholders struggled with data spread across Keka for HR, Jira for projects, BitBucket for code, and Microsoft 365. This scattered approach meant hours and sometimes days of manual work to compile project updates, resource allocations, or billing details, slowing down critical decisions. Initial data updates took days, leaving managers without quick and real-time insights.
The system needed to support diverse roles such as admins, project managers, and eventually non-technical teams like HR while handling complex cases where employees split their time across multiple projects. Relying on clunky third-party plugins for allocations wasn’t sustainable, and lack of a unified platform blocked efficiency and growth.
Taazaa developed Daylight as a centralized platform to streamline data access and management. The system integrated data from Keka, Jira, BitBucket, and Microsoft 365 into a single interface, eliminating the need for stakeholders to navigate multiple applications.
Allocation Studio was introduced to track resource utilization, billable versus non-billable hours, and inactive employees, with visual indicators for over- or under-utilization.
The Member Listing Module’s People Overview included widgets to track individual employee performance, capturing skills and task time, alongside a mailing widget for communication and a Release widget to monitor pull requests (PRs) raised, rejected, check-ins, and code lines.
With project health reports in development and plans for real-time updates, Daylight positions Taazaa for future growth, earning stakeholder trust through consistent, high-quality delivery.
Daylight reshaped how Taazaa manages its projects and people, turning a cumbersome process into a streamlined powerhouse. What once took days gathering data across systems now takes mere minutes, empowering stakeholders and project managers to make swift, informed decisions.
Stakeholders can now log in to Daylight and get access to key metrics like billable rates and utilization thresholds in seconds.
Allocation Studio’s resource management allows delivery managers to analyze bench strength and utilization rates. Excess capacity signals sales to secure new projects while resource shortages signal HR to recruit more.
Daylight’s data analytics offers project managers instant access to client data, giving them granular insights with a bird’s-eye view.
The Project Listing Module displays sprint progress, team assignments, and billing percentages for all projects, helping them track work progress and team performance effortlessly. This centralized visualization helped streamline all aspects of the client lifecycle, from prospecting and negotiation to deal closure, delivery, and invoicing.
The implementation of role-based access ensures security: admins have full control, project managers see only their projects, and demo users can access a read-only view.
By supporting 82 projects and handling complex multi-project allocations, Daylight proved its reliability. It set the stage for real-time updates and broader role support while earning stakeholder trust through consistent delivery.
